Look at Our New Website!
A new design of the OES website debuts today with an improved emphasis on appealing to prospective students and their parents. It replaces a seven-year-old design that served its purpose well but was looking outdated. Brighter colors perk it up and new features provide much more information for people who are unfamiliar with the OES campus and the people who make OES the community it is. Below you can read descriptions of some of the new features, or if you prefer, you can just go to the website and explore. |

Find Your Way Around the Campus
Our new map is fun to use and includes pictures of the buildings and of the activities that occur inside them. You can click on the name and the place will light up, or click on the place and the name will light up. It's an educational toy for young children, a navigational aid for visitors, and a way for prospective students and their parents to learn about the school. Try it now. |

What People Say About OES
Students, teachers, and alumnae/i tell about the aspects of OES that are important to them in the interactive brochure. It is based on the "viewbook" that the school sends to students and parents who inquire about the school. You can click the corners to turn the pages or use your mouse to drag them. Check it out.
If you like the viewbook, you'll also enjoy looking at an online version of last summer's OES magazine. Names of current students have been abbreviated to protect their privacy. |

Check the Team Schedule
Our new athletics section has a page for every team with its schedule and contact information for the coaches. You can register to receive emails with schedule changes and reminders of events. The team calendars will be integrated with a new overall school calendar that will be launched in the spring. Take a look. |

Having Trouble Finding Your Favorite Page? |
|
|
During the design process, we were careful to keep the things that worked well. Most of the navigation has remained the same, but the following things have moved:
The newsletter pages are one click down from the division home pages but are still here: Lower School Wednesday Express, the Middle School Messenger, and the Upper School Voice
The Libraries for each division can now be found via a link on the left side of all the pages for that division to take you to the Lower School Library, Middle School Library, or Upper School Library page..
Volunteer information is accessed via the Giving link because giving of your time is a very generous contribution. The Volunteer login can easily be accessed along with the Parent Portal by clicking on "Log in to OES" on any page.

Brighter colors, bigger pictures, more pleasing to the eye ... what's not to like? And of course, it includes a new look for the Aardvark newsletter with a new banner from OES graphic designer Anne Marie Snyder. Web editor Tom Berridge will be working hard to keep the information and pictures up to date. |
