Computers
The computer curriculum approaches the use of computers and related technologies as tools that support the overall Middle School program. The main elements of the curriculum focus on student skill development in keyboarding, word processing, spreadsheet tables and graphing, presentations, web page creation, email communication, Sharepoint, and tool integration. The goal is to give students the chance to learn and develop useful skills. Seventh and Eighth Graders use school-issued laptops in all their classes.
Inappropriate Computer Use
A student who uses the computer system inappropriately may be subject to probation, suspension, or expulsion depending upon the nature of the infraction. For a details on what is considered appropriate, please see the OES Computer Use Policy.
